Our place is down at 50/1 Kudlu Gate, on the road that goes from Kudlu to AECS Layout. We are right near the Corporation Bank, so it’s not too hard to find if you’re in the area. We do printing. All kinds of it. Paper, banners, whatever else people need. The shop is usually loud because of the machines running all day. There is always the smell of ink and warm paper in the air. It’s a bit cramped with all the stacks of paper and finished jobs waiting to be picked up. We don't have a fancy waiting room. Usually, people just stand near the counter while we check their files. We’ve had these machines for a while and they can be temperamental sometimes, but we know how to fix them. It’s a lot of checking margins and ink levels. We don't talk much about "quality" or "standards"—we just try to make sure the print looks like the file you gave us. It’s a lot of back-and-forth and last-minute changes. We just try to get the jobs out the door on time. Being near Kudlu Gate means we see a lot of different people coming through. It’s just a regular printing shop doing regular work for the neighborhood. We stay late when we have to, just to finish the stacks.
