Pretty Tool Works

I’ve been running Pretty Tool Works over here at 21 Jalahalli 2nd Stage for quite a while now. It’s right in Mico Layout, which is a busy little spot if you know the area. We mostly deal with metal tools and small parts that people need for their workshops or home fixes. The shop isn’t anything fancy, just a lot of shelves and the smell of metal and oil. Some days it’s quiet and I spend my time organizing the drawers, and other days it’s just one person after another asking for a specific bolt or a wrench. My father started things out, and I just kept it going because it’s what I know. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just walk in because they saw the sign or someone told them we had what they were looking for. Jalahalli has changed a lot since we first opened, with more traffic and new buildings popping up everywhere. But inside these four walls, things stay pretty much the same. I try to keep the stock updated so people don’t have to go all the way into the city center. It's a simple life, honestly. You wake up, open the shutters, and see who needs help that day. Sometimes the machines act up or the delivery is late, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like this in Mico Layout.
