Prerana Motor Driving School sits at No. 7/8 on Uttarhalli Main Road in Bangalore. Driving in Bangalore is a whole thing on its own, and we spend our days right in the thick of it. We have a couple of cars that we keep running, and they are out on the road from early morning until it gets dark. Most of our students are people from around Uttarahalli who are nervous about getting behind the wheel for the first time. We just sit with them, talk them through the gears, and try to keep them calm when a bus zooms past. Our office is a small room where we handle the forms and the scheduling. It’s usually got a bit of dust from the road and a few chairs for people waiting their turn. We don't have any fancy simulators or high-tech gear; we just use real cars on real roads because that is how you learn. The instructors here have been doing this for years, so they have a lot of patience, which you definitely need in this job. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local school trying to help people get their licenses without too much stress. It’s simple, practical, and keeps us busy all year round.
