Down here in Peenya 2nd Stage, things are always noisy. We are located at number 89 on the Andrahalli Main Road, right near the 7th cross in the industrial area. It’s a dusty place because of all the factories around us, but we’re used to it. Inside, the machines are usually running from morning until late. We do a lot of moulding work, mostly stuff that people don't think about until they need it. The floor is concrete and stays pretty cold, which is nice when it gets humid outside. We spend most of our time checking the parts coming out of the machines to see if they look right. It’s not like those shiny offices you see in the city center; here it’s about grease, tools, and keeping the power running. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole entrance on the 1st stage road, and we have to go out and ask them to move so we can get our own materials in. It’s a small team, mostly just guys who have been doing this for years and know exactly how the equipment sounds when it’s working properly. We eat our lunch together in the small back room. The traffic on the main road is a nightmare during the shift change, but that’s just life in Peenya. We focus on getting the orders finished so they can be shipped out to the customers who need them.
