It’s a busy area and the noise from the trucks and workshops is constant throughout the day. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the sounds anymore. The space we have is simple and practical. It’s filled with desks, some testing equipment for the control systems we handle, and stacks of paperwork that we try to keep organized. Most of us arrive early to beat the Peenya traffic because once it starts, you’re stuck for a long time. Our work is quite technical, focusing on various measurement tools and control units. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for coffee, which helps on the long afternoons. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it serves us well. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby for visitors. It’s just a place where we come to get the work done. The people in the neighboring units are friendly, and we usually exchange a nod when we’re heading out for lunch. There is a stack of old magazines on the corner table for anyone who has to wait for a minute, and the window gives us a view of the main gate.
