Prasanth Hotel

Gandhi Bazar is one of those places in Bangalore that never really feels modern, and that is why we like it. Prasanth Hotel is at number 25 on the main road, right in the middle of all the flower sellers and the vegetable stalls. Our building has been here through a lot of changes in Basavanagudi. The rooms are basic. We have a bed, a fan, and a window that usually looks out onto the street. You can hear the bells from the temples and the vendors shouting their prices early in the morning. It is a busy spot at 560004. We don't have a gym or a swimming pool. We just have a place for people to stay when they are visiting family or doing some shopping in the market. The stairs are a bit narrow and the paint is a little dull in the hallways, but it is clean. Our staff has been here for years and they know where to get the best coffee on the corner. We spend our day checking people in and out and making sure the water is running fine. It is just a simple hotel on a very old, very busy street. No frills, just a roof over your head in a good part of town where you can walk to everything.
