We’ve been doing painting jobs around Marathahalli for quite a while now. Most days you’ll find us somewhere along the Outer Ring Road with a bunch of buckets and ladders in the back of the truck. It started out small but now we have a steady crew. We do interior walls and the outside of buildings too. It’s a lot of climbing and scraping. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, especially when it rains right after we start a big outdoor job. We just show up and get to work. People call us when their walls look a bit dingy or they just moved into a new place and want a change. It's not glamorous work. There's dust everywhere and you go home with paint under your fingernails. We keep our gear over at our spot near K R Puram. It gets busy around the holidays when everyone wants their house to look fresh. We don't have a big office or anything, just a phone and our tools. If you see us on the road, that’s just us heading to the next house. We try to be careful with people's furniture. Covering everything in plastic takes forever but it's part of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. Just local guys who know how to handle a brush and a roller. The traffic on the ring road is a headache but we manage.
