Prakash Driving School

You can find Prakash Driving School at No 1482 on the ground floor of Pipeline Road in Vijayanagar. We are right across from Jayaprakash Narayan Park, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. The office is pretty small, just enough space for a couple of chairs and the desk where we handle the registrations. Bangalore traffic is something else, so teaching people to drive around here takes a lot of patience. We usually start the lessons early in the morning when the roads are a bit quieter. I’ve spent countless hours sitting in the passenger seat, watching learners try to figure out the indicators and the brakes. The park across the street is a nice view when we are waiting for the next student to show up. Sometimes we have back-to-back classes all day, and other times it’s a bit slow. We don't have a big fleet of cars, just a few reliable ones that get the job done. The paperwork for the licenses can be a headache, but we help people get through it. It’s a very local business, and most of our students live within a few blocks of here. We aren't doing anything fancy, just helping people get their license so they can get around the city. It is honest work and we have been at it for a long time now in this neighborhood without needing much more than our cars.
