Power Tool Zone

You can find us at No. 117/1 on the first floor of the Shamanna Building. We’re right in the middle of Peenya Second Stage, on the Second Main road. It’s a crowded area, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache most days, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn the corner. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up the stairs, which keeps us in shape, I guess. We’ve got shelves and shelves of power tools crammed into every available inch of space. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, and we might have boxes stacked in the hallway if a big shipment just came in. We deal with all sorts of drills, saws, and grinders. Most of the guys who come in are working on construction sites nearby or have their own small workshops in Peenya. We know a lot of them by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. The shop isn't much to look at, just a lot of yellow and blue tool boxes and the smell of new plastic and motor brushes. We keep the lights on late sometimes when the paperwork catches up with us, but mostly we’re just here during the day helping people find the right tool for whatever they’re building. It’s a lot of standing around and talking about battery life or torque, but it’s what we know. The Shamanna Building has seen better days, but it’s home for us.
