S P Road is a place where you can find almost anything, and we are right in the thick of it at 59/1. Popular Hardware Stores has been here for a long time, watching the street change around us. We are a typical hardware shop, filled with everything from nails to power tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to stock as much as possible in a limited amount of space. You have to watch your step sometimes because there might be a box of hinges or a coil of wire on the floor. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to. Most of our customers are people who work in the trades and know exactly what they are looking for when they walk in. They don't want a sales pitch, they just want to know if we have the item in stock and what the price is. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. The street outside is always chaotic with motorcycles and people carrying heavy loads, but that's just SP Road for you. We are used to the noise and the dust. It’s just how we live and work here. We'll be at the counter from morning until late, helping whoever comes through the door with their hardware needs.
