Pooja Precision Instruments

You can find us over at 423/14 in JP Nagar, specifically near Jawahar Chowk. Pooja Precision Instruments is a smallish spot where we deal with a lot of fine work. Because we work with instruments, we have to keep things a bit more organized than a heavy machine shop. It’s a busy neighborhood. The chowk is right there. There is always people and traffic passing by. We have benches set up with bright lamps so we can see the tiny parts we are working with. Sometimes it’s hard to focus when it’s loud outside. We manage. The shelves are full of various tools and small boxes that hold different components. It’s not a large office. Everything is within arm's reach. We spend most of our time looking at work tables with magnifying glasses or screwdrivers. Sometimes people come in asking for things we don’t do. We have to point them toward another place in the market. We take our tea breaks when the rush dies down a little. The walls have some old calendars and charts on them to help with our daily tasks. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the big factories. We just keep our heads down and make sure everything is put together as it should be. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background. It's hard to hear over the sounds of the street.
