Pooja Polyclinic And Daycare Centre

Pooja Polyclinic is at No.80 on Wheeler Road in Cox Town. It’s a pretty well-known spot because we are near the Cox Town Circle and right opposite the Bharath Gas Agency. If you’ve ever had to get a gas cylinder around here, you’ve probably seen our building. This part of Bangalore has a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and crowded. Our daycare and clinic stay busy with people from the local neighborhood coming in for all sorts of small health issues. It’s a place where you see families and older folks who have lived in Cox Town for decades. We don’t have a big corporate lobby; it’s just a desk and some chairs where people wait. The sounds of the traffic from Wheeler Road are always there in the background. We deal with daily cases, give out medicine, and watch over people who need to stay for a few hours. It’s a lot of routine work like checking temperatures and writing out prescriptions. The staff has been around for a while, so they know many of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s a bit of a cramped space sometimes when it gets full, but we make it work. We just keep things running as best as we can every day, right here across from the gas agency.
