Planet 21 Driving School

Our office is located at Number 29/3 in Achappa Layout, right on the 24th Main Road in Puttenhalli. This is part of JP Nagar 7th Phase in Bangalore, near the Brigade area. We are a small driving school, and most of our time is spent out on the road rather than sitting inside the office. We have a couple of cars with the extra pedals on the passenger side so we can stop the car if a student gets nervous. The office itself is just a small room where we keep the schedules and the learner permits. It is usually just one of us sitting there with a logbook, waiting for the next student to show up for their hour behind the wheel. The traffic in this part of Bangalore is a great teacher because it is always busy and full of surprises. We take people through the narrow lanes and the bigger main roads to get them used to how it really feels to drive here. It isn't a big fancy academy. We just teach the basics and help people get comfortable with the clutch and the gears. Most of our students are people from the neighborhood who finally decided they wanted to learn. We spend a lot of time explaining the signs and making sure everyone knows how to park without hitting the curb too hard. It is a pretty steady routine for us every day. We just try to stay patient while the cars crawl through the city traffic.
