Pilot Machinery Corporation is located at number 7 on Narasimharaja Road, right in the heart of Bangalore City. If you’ve ever walked down NR Road, you know it’s famous for machinery and spare parts. Our shop fits right in with the rest of them. It’s an old building, and we’ve been here for years. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected over time. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it, but we know where everything is. We spend our days talking to customers who walk in from the street, many of whom have been buying from us for decades. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website that we update or anything fancy. Usually, people just come in with a part in their hand and ask if we have another one like it. Sometimes we have to go digging in the back to find what they need. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of metal and oil. We don't mind the noise of the traffic outside; it’s just part of being on such a busy road. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the person who comes in gets the right machinery part they were looking for. It’s simple work, and we like it that way.
