Pigeon Exclusive Showroom

We set up this showroom in JP Nagar 7th Phase, right across from where the State Bank of Mysore used to be. It’s a good spot on the 468 block. The windows are large so people can see the stoves and pans from the street. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the road outside gets quite dusty with all the traffic. It’s not a massive store, but we try to keep a good variety of kitchen things on display. Most of the customers are local families who live nearby. They come in looking for a replacement pressure cooker or a new kettle. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just let people walk around and look at things. If they have a question, we tell them what we know. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it mopped, though it gets footprints pretty fast during the rainy season. Sometimes the delivery truck arrives late and we have to stay back to unload the boxes. It’s just a regular retail job. We know the other shopkeepers on the street and we often grab tea from the stall nearby. It’s nice being in a familiar part of JP Nagar. We keep the lights bright so the stainless steel looks good, but it's just a normal shop at the end of the day. Nothing too complicated or formal here for us or the customers.
