Indira Nagar 1st Stage is where you’ll find us, specifically at 15/48. Philips Driving School is basically a few cars and a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. Learning to drive in a place like this can be a bit intimidating for people because the streets get so busy. We spend our mornings and evenings out with students, trying to teach them how to navigate the traffic without getting too frustrated. It’s a hands-on job. We aren't sitting behind desks much. Our instructors are local people who know these roads like the back of their hands. We’ve seen all sorts of learners come through, from teenagers to older folks who finally decided it was time to get behind the wheel. The cars aren't brand new luxury models; they are reliable vehicles that can handle the wear and tear of a learner’s foot on the brake. We keep things very informal. There’s no dress code, and we talk to our students like neighbors. Sometimes we have to deal with car repairs or flat tires, which is just part of the business. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Usually, people just see our cars around the neighborhood and give us a call. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town. We just try to be patient with everyone who is starting out.
