Peter Huber Kaltemaschinenbau Gmbh has its India office down in Mathikere, Bangalore. We go by Huber India around here. The address is 18/2, 1st D Main in Muthyala Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads. We work with temperature control systems, mostly chillers and heaters for labs and factories. It’s very precise work because if the temperature is off by a little bit, it ruins the whole experiment or batch. The team here in Bangalore is small but we know these machines very well. We spend a lot of time doing service calls or helping people figure out which unit they need for their specific setup. The office has some of the smaller units on display so people can see how they work. We aren't into flashy sales pitches. We just explain how the cooling circuits work and what the maintenance looks like. Mathikere is a decent place to be based, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Sometimes we are out on site at different pharmaceutical companies, and other times we are just here in the office catching up on service reports. It’s a lot of technical talk about pumps and refrigerants and controllers. We just try to be helpful and make sure the equipment stays running like it’s supposed to. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We keep some extra parts in the storage cabinet just in case.
