Our workshop is out in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically over in the 2nd Phase. It’s a loud and busy part of town with all the factories nearby, but that suits what we do at Hitze Equipments. We build and handle industrial gear. There’s a lot of metalwork and heat involved in our daily routine. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or tiny metal shavings, even if we try to sweep it every morning. It’s a big open space, but it fills up fast when we’re working on a large project for a customer. We have a few heavy machines that have been with us for years. They aren't the newest models on the market, but they work perfectly fine for what we need to get done. We don't spend much time in the small office area at the front. Most of the action happens right on the shop floor. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We just keep the big fans going and get on with the job at hand. People who come to visit us are usually from other industrial firms nearby. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you show up, you’ll probably find us in our grease-stained overalls. It’s hard work, and it’s definitely not always clean, but we’ve been doing this for a long time. We know our way around the equipment and we don't make a big deal out of it.
