At New Thippasandra 1891, you’ll find Pawar Home Appliances. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while. The shop is filled with all sorts of things for the house—mixers, stoves, irons, and all those small gadgets that people use every day. It’s a bit packed, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. We do a lot of repairs too. People bring in their old grinders or cookers that have stopped working, and we try to fix them up. The back of the shop is full of spare parts and tools. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. New Thippasandra is a lively place, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We stay open late most days to accommodate people coming home from work. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there’s usually a lot of talking going on. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just sell what people ask for and try to give honest advice about what brand lasts longer. The floor is old tile, and the lighting could be better, but it works for us. We’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they come in to buy things for their own homes. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the local community like that. We just keep the lights on and help the neighbors with their household needs.
