The office is right next to the Air Cargo Complex on Airport Road, near the HAL exit. Pawar Agencies Pvt Ltd is in a spot that gets very busy when flights are coming in. You can hear the roar of the planes taking off quite clearly from our desks. It’s a very practical location for us because we spend a lot of time running over to the cargo terminal. The office is a bit small and can get crowded when everyone is in at the same time. We have a lot of metal shelves for keeping track of the different shipments we are handling. It’s a lot of fast-paced work, checking weights and labels and making sure nothing gets left behind. The furniture is nothing special, just some functional tables and chairs that have been around for years. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep some background noise going. There’s a lot of dust from the road and the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down our screens. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a simple one so people know where we are. It’s a lot of work coordinating with the airlines and the ground staff. We just do our bit to make sure the air freight gets handled properly. It’s not a fancy job, but it keeps us busy from morning to night.
