Parvathi Clinic

Parvathi Clinic is tucked away on 10th Main in Indiranagar 2nd Stage. If you live around here, you probably know the big water tank; we are just a short walk from that. Indiranagar has changed so much, becoming all noisy and crowded, but this particular street still feels a bit like the old Bangalore. Our building number is 846. It’s a plain place, really. I usually open up in the morning and sweep the front area. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. People come in for all sorts of small health issues. It’s the kind of place where you don't feel like a number in a big hospital system. The waiting area has some old magazines and some chairs that have seen better days, but it’s comfortable enough. We get a lot of older residents who have lived in Indiranagar since the seventies. They like to talk about how the trees used to be thicker. The water tank is the best way to explain where we are to anyone new. Usually, it’s quiet enough that you can hear the birds, unless there’s construction nearby, which seems to happen every other day now. We don't do anything fancy. It’s just a local clinic for the people living in these blocks. We try to keep things simple and honest. If the doctor is running late, we just tell people. No point in making up excuses.
