Panacea Hospital

Setting up at 334 8th Main, 3rd Stage in Basaveswaranagar was a choice made because we wanted to be where people actually live. This is Bangalore, so it’s always loud outside with the bikes and the horns, but inside Panacea Hospital, we try to keep things focused. We have been in this building for a while, and it has some quirks, like the way the light hits the lobby in the afternoon or the specific way you have to jiggle the front door handle sometimes. We aren't a huge corporate chain with a million branches. We are just this one spot on 8th Main. Our staff knows the local tea stall owner and the people at the pharmacy down the street. It’s that kind of place. We have basic rooms and some more specialized equipment for when things get serious, but we don't go around bragging about it. People come here because we are close by and we tell it like it is. If we can't fix something, we say so, but usually, we can figure out a plan. The floors are scrubbed every morning, and the smell of antiseptic is pretty much everywhere, which is just how a hospital should be. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just show up, put on our scrubs, and see who needs help today. It’s simple work, but it is important to the folks in this part of Bangalore.
