Padmasree Clinic

Padmasree Clinic is located at No.3, 8th Cross, 5th Main Road in Sampangiramnagar. This part of Bangalore is pretty busy, but our street stays somewhat quiet compared to the main roads nearby. We’ve been here for a good while now. The building is older, painted a light color, and has a few steps leading up to the front door. Inside, we have a small waiting area with a few plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. There’s a wooden desk where we keep our files and a small fan that hums throughout the day. People from the neighborhood usually just walk over when they need something. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening, depending on how many folks come by. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the curtains for light. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they’ve been coming here for years. It feels more like a community spot than a cold office. We just do our work and go home. On rainy days, the water puddles a bit near the gate, but it clears up fast. We usually have some tea in the afternoon.
