Padma Devaiah Hospital & Research Centre

This hospital is tucked away on the 19th Cross in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar, which is just off Magadi Road. It is quite easy to find if you look for the Madheshwara Temple because we are right near that landmark. The building is on the 3rd Main, and it has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. It functions as both a hospital and a research center, so there is always a mix of things happening. You have the regular patients coming in for treatments and then the research side of things going on in the background. The lobby is usually busy in the mornings with people checking in or asking questions at the desk. We have different wards and rooms spread out, and the hallways can get a bit narrow when the trolleys are moving through. It’s got that specific hospital smell, you know, like cleaning supplies and medicine, which is pretty standard. The staff are usually rushing around between the different floors. Outside, Magadi Road is always loud with buses and autos, but once you get inside the gates, it settles down a little bit. It is a local place, so a lot of the families around here have been coming to us for years. We don’t have those big glass elevators or anything, just a functional building where the work happens every day.
