Our shop is located at 47 Renukambanagar, which is inside the Bkm Complex. It can be a bit of a long trek to get out here if you are coming all the way from the center of the city, but it has turned out to be a good spot for us. The complex houses several different types of businesses, but we are the ones with all the metal components and crates stacked up near the front entrance. We started P M Tools a long time ago with just a few basic machines. It is really just a simple workshop where we handle various tools and a wide range of metal parts. The lighting inside the building is not exactly the best, but we have plenty of desk lamps to see what we are doing on the workbenches. We work with a lot of local manufacturers in the area who need very specific parts for their own products. Sometimes the orders we get are quite small, and other times they are huge, but we try to treat every job with the same amount of attention. There is no fancy office or lounge here, just a cluttered desk in the corner that is usually covered in old invoices and yesterday’s newspapers. We spend the vast majority of our day on our feet moving around the shop. The concrete floor can get quite cold during the winter months, so we usually wear thick boots. We have a small radio that stays on all day playing the news while we go about our work. It is a very basic setup but it has always worked well for us. We are not looking to grow into some massive corporation. We just like knowing our customers by their names and having a quick chat when they stop by to pick up their orders. It is a steady life for us.
