Oxford Academy For Career Development

Our place, the Oxford Academy For Career Development, is located in Richmond Town. You can find us on 8th Cross, specifically on Coconut Avenue Road at 5S. It’s a nice enough area with some old trees around that give some shade. We focus on helping people get their careers moving in the right direction. It isn't a massive university campus. We just have some classrooms and a small office area. I’ve been working here for a few years now. The rooms are basic, just desks and whiteboards and some chairs. We don’t have any high-tech gadgets or luxury lounges for people to sit in. It’s a place for learning and studying. Sometimes the students stay late to finish their work, and I stay with them to lock up the building. The commute through Richmond Town can be a bit slow because of the traffic, but once you are inside, it’s fairly quiet. We get people from all walks of life coming in. Some are young, others are looking to change what they do for a living. I handle the schedules and make sure the teachers have what they need for the day. It’s a lot of coordination. I often find myself cleaning up stray papers or empty cups at the end of the day. We’ve been at this location for a while. The name sounds a bit formal, but we are actually quite informal in person. We just want people to learn what they need.
