Osteen College

Our place, Osteen College, is located over at No.61 in Chamarajpet, on 5th Main Road. It’s a busy area and there is always something going on outside our windows. We aren't one of those massive universities with a giant campus and huge gates. We are a local college and we like it that way because we actually get to know the students who walk through the doors. The building is practical and we use every bit of space we have for classrooms and desks. Most days, you’ll see students hanging out near the entrance between their sessions or hurrying down 5th Main to catch a bus. We put a lot of focus on just getting the teaching done right. It’s about giving people the skills they need so they can go out and find a decent job. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do expect everyone to put in the effort. We don’t have a big marketing department writing fancy brochures for us. Usually, word just gets around the neighborhood about what we do. Running a college in Chamarajpet means being part of the local community. We see the same faces every day and we watch people grow as they learn new things. It’s a lot of coordination and paperwork to keep everything running, but seeing a student finish their course makes the long hours worth it. We’re just here doing our part in education.
