Being located at No.810 on the 8th floor of Prestige Meridian-1 means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, especially during the lunch hour when everyone on M.G. Road seems to be heading out at once. Our office isn't huge, but it's enough for the team to handle the motor orders that come through. We have some desks pushed together and shelves full of technical manuals and parts. M.G. Road is always loud, even up here on the 8th floor, you can still hear the honking and the general rush of the city. We’ve got a small pantry where someone is usually making coffee or heating up their lunch. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to call the guy to come fix it, which takes ages because of the traffic downstairs. It’s a corporate building, but our space feels more like a workshop with all the boxes of motors stacked in the corner. We spend most of our day on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It gets dark early in the winter, and the lights from the other buildings start flickering on, which is a nice view if you have a minute to look out the window. Most of us have been here for a few years, so we know which floor buttons stick and which stairs are faster. It's just a regular office life for us here in the middle of the city. We keep a calendar by the door to track deliveries and try to keep things moving.
