You can find us right across from the Minerva Hotel on Lalbagh Fort Road. It is a noisy spot because of all the traffic going towards the circle, but it makes it easy for people to spot us. We have been at number 106 for quite a while. Inside the shop, there is usually the smell of new material and some adhesive because we are always working on something. We have rolls of different fabrics and vinyl stacked against the walls. Some days it is just a mess of thread and offcuts on the floor, especially when we have three or four jobs going on at the same time. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to keep the heat out. People pull up their vehicles right in front, and we spend a lot of time out on the pavement checking the fit of things. It is a bit dusty because of the main road, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We have an old bench where people sit and wait while we finish up. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace with tools and machines that have been with us for years. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the stitching done before the sun goes down.
