Omega Industries

Omega Industries is located at S-56 in the Kirloskar Colony. Specifically, we’re in the 3rd Stage, 4th Block of Basaveswaranagar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to tell the delivery drivers, but we’ve been here long enough that most of them know the way now. The building is an industrial type of place, lots of metal and concrete. We do a lot of manufacturing work here, so there is usually the sound of something being cut or welded in the background. It’s not the quietest environment to have a conversation, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. The floor is often covered in metal shavings by the end of the day, no matter how much we sweep. We have a small office area boxed off from the main floor where the paperwork happens, though it’s always got a thin layer of dust on everything. Working in Basaveswaranagar is nice because there are good places to get food nearby when we take our lunch break. We aren't trying to be the biggest factory in the world, just a reliable one where the measurements are right and the parts fit together like they should. It’s honest work, even if we go home with grease on our shirts more often than not. We keep the machines running, maintain the tools, and handle the orders as they come in, one day at a time, making sure things are done properly.
