This location of Omax Autos Ltd is at Thachanandiyil in Purameri, which is near Vatakara in the Calicut area of Kerala. It’s a more traditional setting compared to some of our other offices in the city. The office is part of a local building that has been around for many years. We handle the local automotive needs and keep track of everything from this small base. It’s a very local feel here; most people in the village know the house name Thachanandiyil. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or a polished office look with glass walls. It’s mostly heavy wooden desks, old metal shelves, and a lot of paper ledgers. We spend our days talking to people from the surrounding areas and making sure they get the information or parts they need. Sometimes the roads around Purameri get a bit muddy during the monsoon season, making it a bit difficult for people to reach us, but we stay open regardless. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. People just know where we are and they come to us when they have work that needs doing. It’s a quiet way to live and work. We usually have tea together in the late afternoons and talk about the local news or the rain. There is no corporate pressure here, just the daily tasks that need to be finished. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and plan to stay at this address. It’s a simple business doing its best.
