Our office is over at S-3 in the Swastic Manandi Arcade. It's building number 401/24 on Seshadripuram's SC Road. If you know the area, it’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops and people moving around. We’ve been running the carrier business from here for some time. It's basically us coordinating drivers and making sure the loads are picked up. The arcade can get a bit crowded during the middle of the day, so parking a bike is sometimes a challenge. Inside, it’s mostly just files and the sound of the fans going. We spend most of our hours talking to guys on the road, checking their locations and seeing if they hit any traffic. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to make sure the cargo gets moved from point A to point B. We don't use any fancy tracking software that’s always perfect, mostly just calling the drivers on their mobiles. Seshadripuram is a good spot for us because it’s central, even if the traffic on SC Road is a nightmare in the evenings. We see a lot of regular faces coming in and out of the building. We just try to keep the schedules straight and the paperwork sorted so there aren't any big delays at the checkpoints. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that is how it goes in the transport business around here. Most days are long and the tea gets cold on the desk, but we get by.
