If you are walking down Arbuda Road in Electronic City, you will find us in the Jayappa Reddy Building. We are right beside the Yallamma Temple, which makes it easy to give people directions. You can often hear the prayers and the bells from the temple while we are working. Our shop is quite small and it is usually crowded with ladders, buckets of paint, and rolls of plastic. We spend most of our time out at work sites painting houses or offices, so the shop is mostly for storage and taking calls. The floor is covered in drips of different colors that have dried over the years. We have a big wooden desk where we keep our notebooks and some old brushes that need cleaning. It is a bit of a messy place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to load a van. Our clothes always have some paint on them, no matter how careful we try to be. It is hard work and involves a lot of climbing and scrubbing. We have been doing this in the Rajendra Park area for a long time now. People know us because they see our ladders around the neighborhood. We just do the work as it comes and try to be honest about how long a job will take. The bristles on our old brushes are getting a bit stiff, so we have to replace them every now and then.
