Nimhans Hospital

This branch of Nimhans Hospital is over in Kamala Nagar. It’s a bit different from the main campus, but we still handle a lot of the same kind of work. The neighborhood is fairly active, and we are right in the middle of it. We have a set routine here that starts early in the morning. People start showing up at the doors before we even fully open. The building itself is simple and serves its purpose. We have rooms for consultations and spaces where people can wait. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s what we need to get through the day. I spend a lot of time talking to families and trying to explain things clearly without using too many big medical words. It’s important that people feel like they are being heard. The floors are tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we have a lot of foot traffic. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and it can get a bit loud. We try to keep things organized with our filing system, though sometimes it feels like a losing battle with all the paperwork. Everyone who works here is just a regular person trying to help out. We stay focused on the patients who are right in front of us. It’s just a local hospital doing what it can for the people around Kamala Nagar.
