New Life Hospital

We are located right on Railway Station Road in Kadugodi. It is directly opposite the Whitefield Railway Station, so you can imagine how noisy it gets with the trains coming and going all day. The vibration of the trains is something you just get used to after a while. The road outside is usually packed with autos, buses, and people rushing to catch their commute. Our building is right in the middle of all that chaos. It's a busy spot but very convenient for anyone taking the train. We have been here for some time now. The entrance is a bit narrow but once you are inside, it opens up into the main reception area. We have the usual hospital smells of antiseptic and floor cleaner. The furniture is nothing special, just basic chairs and desks. We spend our days helping people who walk in from the station or the nearby neighborhoods. Our nurses are always on their feet. We have a small canteen area where the coffee is decent. It’s a very functional place. We don't do much in the way of decoration. We just focus on the medical work. Sometimes it's hard to hear the patients when a big freight train goes by, but we make it work. It's a local hospital for local people. There’s a guy who sells newspapers just outside the gate, and he’s been there as long as we have.
