New India Motor Driving School

We have been here at R.T. Nagar for quite a bit now, right near the KFC and that big Bata showroom on 2nd Main Road. Our little office is in the 1st Block, and it stays pretty busy most mornings. People come in wanting to learn how to drive properly, and we just try to help them out with the basics. It’s not a fancy place, just a room with some chairs and a desk where we handle the forms. We have a few cars parked nearby that we use for the lessons. Most days start early because that’s when the roads are a bit quieter for the beginners. We take them out, show them the clutch and the gears, and try not to let them get too nervous when a bus goes by. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping a foot on the extra brake just in case. We know these roads well, especially around the 2nd Main area, so we guide people through the turns and the signals. Sometimes the traffic is a mess, but that is just part of learning to drive in Bangalore. We don’t do anything flashy here. We just show up, meet the students, and spend the hour going over how to reverse or park. It’s practical work. If you are walking past the KFC, you will probably see one of our cars pulling out. That’s just how we spend our days.
