New Horizon Pre University College

New Horizon Pre University College is located right here in Kasturi Nagar. It is a very busy place during the week. We have students coming in from all over the neighborhood every morning. The building has been here for a good bit now, and we do our best to keep it tidy, though with so many teenagers running around, it is always a bit of a challenge. We focus on those two years before university because they can be quite stressful for the kids. There are always books piled up on the tables and someone is always looking for a quiet corner to finish their homework. We are not trying to be some massive institution with shiny glass walls and modern art. We just have our classrooms and the teachers who show up every day to do their work. Sometimes the traffic in Kasturi Nagar makes it hard for everyone to get here on time, but we manage to get the bells ringing. We spend a lot of time on the syllabus, which is a lot of work for the students, and we try to be there to help them get through it. We have a small staff room where we drink a lot of tea and talk about the day’s lessons. It is not a fancy life, but it is what we do for a living. The college is just a part of the local scene now. People know where we are located and what to expect when they walk in.
