Nethaji Motor Driving School

Down here at Rajajinagar, specifically in the Sumatinath Industrial Estate at number 37, we run the Nethaji Motor Driving School. It is a bit different being in an industrial area compared to the residential parts of town. You see a lot more trucks and heavy vehicles moving around this part of Bangalore, which can be a bit scary for someone who is just sitting behind the wheel for the first time. We spend a lot of time just going over the basics of how a car works before we even head out into the lane. The office is just a simple space where we keep the records and talk to people who want to sign up for classes. It can get quite loud with all the machinery and transport stuff happening nearby, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We usually have people coming in from the nearby factories or residents from the other side of Rajajinagar. We don't really do anything flashy here. We just take the cars out, show people how not to stall in the middle of a junction, and help them understand the road rules. The estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it. We just keep our head down and help folks get their driving sorted. It’s a plain business, really, just teaching and practicing every day until the sun goes down.
