We are tucked away in Widia Layout, specifically at 132 Magadi 8th Cross. If you see Lakshmi Granite, you are basically there. KPA Block is a busy area with a lot of small industries like ours. We’ve been operating out of this unit for a good while. It’s a brick building that’s seen better days, but it keeps the rain out. We do mostly industrial work here. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease on it. We don't mind. We have a few heavy machines that take up most of the room. It gets quite loud when everything is running at once. My uncle started this place and I took over after a few years. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from the other shops in the layout. We help each other out when someone’s machine breaks down. The 8th cross can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't local. The street sign is faded. We keep a water cooler near the door for anyone who stops by. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have uniforms or anything like that. Just old shirts and sturdy shoes. We work six days a week and usually close up by seven. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big order to finish. It’s just the way things go in this part of town. We’ve been here a long time and know the neighbors. We just keep our heads down and work hard.
