Navodaya College

Navodaya College is out near the Jalahalli East Airport Station. It’s a bit of a trip to get here if you aren't from this side of Bengaluru. We’re located in Vidyaranyapura, specifically the Singapura area at Varadarajaswamy Layout. The college grounds are numbered 100 and 101. Being near the airport station means we sometimes hear the planes or the trains, but you get used to it after a while. The campus is a bit more spread out than the schools in the city center, which is nice for the students who like a little more space. We have some concrete paths between the buildings and a few patches of green where people sit. The buildings themselves are painted in plain colors and the classrooms have the usual wooden desks and chairs. It’s a quiet enough place most of the time, except when the students are switching between classes. We don’t have any flashy advertisements or big billboards. It’s just a place for learning. The staff mostly comes in early to get things ready before the sun gets too high. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. We’ve been in this layout for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood grow up around us. It’s just a regular college where people show up, do their work, and head home in the evening when the shadows get long.
