National Centre For Biological Sciences

Our address is No. 10, over on 3rd Cross Road, near the 3rd B Main Road. We are based in Someshwar Nagara, which falls under the Gkvkpost area in Chikka Bommasandra. It’s part of Yelahanka New Town here in Bangalore-560065. National Centre For Biological Sciences isn't your average office. We are located in a part of the city that still has some green patches, which is nice for a change. The building isn't anything too flashy, just a solid place where we get our work done. Finding us can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the cross roads in Yelahanka, but once you find Someshwar Nagara, it’s easy. We mostly stay inside focusing on the science stuff. It’s a pretty quiet environment most of the time. The staff here are just regular folks who happen to be into biology. We don't do much in the way of public events or anything like that. We just come in, do what needs to be done for the research, and that’s about it. The local tea stalls nearby are where you’ll usually find some of us during the breaks. It’s a decent area to work in, away from the extreme noise of the city. We’ve been at this spot for a while and it’s become a bit like a second home for the people here who work at the centre.
