National Centre For Biological Science Ncbs Tifr

We are located on the 1st Floor of the Venkatadri building, specifically at 70, 1st Block. It’s on 13th Main in the Hmt Layout area of Vidyaranyapura. Being here in Bangalore-560097, the National Centre For Biological Science Ncbs Tifr is tucked away in a spot that feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a big tech park. We share the space with other things around here. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs to get to our floor. The building is just a regular one you’d see in this part of town. Inside, things are mostly quiet because of the type of work being done. It’s not a shop where people walk in off the street much. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and screens. Vidyaranyapura is a nice place to be based out of. It’s got a bit of a slower pace compared to the center of Bangalore. Sometimes the traffic on 13th Main can be a bit of a mess during the mornings, but we just deal with it. We don't really have any fancy slogans or anything. We are just a group of people working at this address in the Hmt Layout. It’s a practical setup for the kind of research that goes on here. We’ve been in this building for some time now and it suits us just fine for the daily routine.
