National Auto Engg Works

National Auto Engg Works is situated at No.55/3 on Lalbagh Fort Road, specifically down the 4th Cross. It is a busy area with a lot of people moving towards the park or the market. Our workshop is a bit old-fashioned. We have been doing mechanical and engineering work here for a long time. The floor is usually covered in oil stains and there are metal scraps in the corners. It’s a loud place because of the machines and the tools we use. We don't have a fancy front office. Most people just walk right into the work area to talk to us. We handle a lot of engine repairs and part machining. It’s dirty work and our clothes are always stained with grease by the end of the day. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know how to handle the old lathes and drills we have. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just part of life here. We don't have a website or any way to book online. You just have to bring your machine or your vehicle over and we will take a look at it. It takes time to do the work right, so we don't like to rush things. We stay open until it gets dark, then we lock up the gate and head home.
