Naraya Hospital

Our place is over at 307 40th Cross in the 8th Block of Jayanagar. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets quite busy around here with all the shops and people walking by. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It isn’t the newest place on the block, but it serves its purpose. Inside, the floors are those old-style tiles and the walls are a plain off-white color. We have a row of chairs in the hallway for people waiting to see someone. Sometimes the fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise. We are just used to it by now. The windows look out onto the street. There is always something to watch if there is a wait. It’s just a regular hospital where we handle daily stuff. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk with a computer. Usually, someone is just sitting there with a ledger book to write names down. Getting here is easy enough if you’re coming from the main part of Jayanagar, though parking can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the day. Most of the folks who come in are from just a few streets away. We know a lot of the families around here because they’ve been coming to this spot for years. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the last person is seen.
