Nanavati Hospital

This branch of Nanavati Hospital is over in Roopen Agrahara, near the Silk Board on Hosur Main Road. It’s right by the MRA Hostel. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic near the Silk Board, you know exactly where we are. It’s a hectic part of town, but that’s why having a hospital here makes sense. The building itself is practical. We deal with a lot of people coming in from the main road. The lobby is usually full of people waiting, and the air conditioner hums in the background. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this going 24/7. We’ve got shifts changing, nurses coming and going, and doctors rushing between rooms. It isn't a quiet office job. The floors are hard tile and they get mopped constantly because of all the foot traffic from the Hosur Main Road. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy lobbies. We just have the equipment and the beds we need. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the buses and horns, but inside we just focus on the patients. The staff drinks a lot of tea to stay awake during the long nights. It’s a real, working hospital. Nothing more, nothing less. We are just here near the hostel, doing the job every day. It feels like a part of the local scenery now, tucked into this busy corner of Agrahara. It is a tough job but someone has to do it.
