N M Machine Tools

N M Machine Tools is located over at 5 Peenya Road Number 0. Peenya is always crowded with trucks and people moving things around. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time. The building is simple. We don’t have a flashy sign or anything. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of tools and parts. It gets dusty because of all the traffic outside. We open up early because that’s when the work starts in this part of town. The mornings are the best time here because the air is a little fresher before the trucks start their engines and the dust kicks up. Most of our neighbors are also in the tool business or running small factories. We talk to each other over tea sometimes. Selling machine tools isn’t exactly exciting, but it’s what we know. We spend a lot of time checking stock and making sure things are where they belong. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for a specific part we haven't seen in years. We have to dig through the back to find it. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s sunny out. We don’t use any fancy systems to keep track of stuff, just a notebook and some shelves. It works for us. Living and working around Peenya Road is just how life is. You get used to the noise of the machines nearby. There isn't much to say about us other than we are here every day. We handle the tools and talk to whoever walks in.
