Multiform Springs & Wireform

Our workshop is tucked away at 2791 in the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited 2nd Stage area, specifically on the 120 Feet Road in Thakur Village. It’s an interesting part of the city because you have the big aviation history nearby, but our corner is more about small-scale production. We spend our days working with wire, bending and coiling it into all sorts of springs. The machines we use are quite old but they still do the job better than most. It’s a very manual process, and you have to have a feel for the metal to get the tension right. The 120 Feet Road is usually quite busy, so there’s always noise coming from outside, but we’re used to it by now. The shop floor is covered in small bits of wire and metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of every day. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll likely find us right there at the machines with our sleeves rolled up. It’s a specific kind of work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes a design is tricky and takes us a few tries to get it right. We just take it one order at a time and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much fuss.
