Moodern Machinery Co has its home at 19 Silver Jubilee Park Road, right near Berlie Street and Langford Road. This part of the city is famous for machinery, so we fit right in with our neighbors. We are directly opposite the Jamia Masjid, which is a beautiful landmark that helps everyone find our door. Silver Jubilee Park Road is one of those places that feels like it has been the center of trade for decades. The buildings are old, and the streets are narrow, often blocked by trucks unloading heavy crates of equipment. Our shop at number 19 is filled with all kinds of industrial machines. They are heavy, oily, and take up a lot of room. There is always a smell of machine oil in the air, which we have grown used to over the years. We spend our days talking to people who come from all over to find specific machinery parts. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with trolleys. The noise from the street is constant, with the calls from the Masjid mixing with the sounds of engines and people shouting to be heard over the traffic. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure; we just have the machines on the floor and the knowledge of how they work. It is a busy, greasy, and honest way to make a living in a part of town that never seems to go quiet.
