Monu Clinic

Monu Clinic is located on Kanakapura Road, right in the Sarakki area. It’s a busy road so there’s always a lot of traffic noise coming in. We’ve been here for a while. It’s just a regular clinic where people come when they have a cough or a fever. We don’t have anything fancy like a big fountain or expensive art. It’s just a few rooms and a desk where we keep the records. Most of the folks who come in are from the apartments around Sarakki. We see the same faces quite a bit. It’s nice because you get to know the families. The staff here is just a few of us. We manage everything from the cleaning to the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when three people show up at once without calling. We just tell them to take a seat. Kanakapura Road has changed so much since we first opened, with all the new shops and the metro. But we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We like it that way. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. Just a local clinic for local people. Usually, we're open early and close up once the sun goes down. If you’re walking down near Sarakki, you’ll see our door. It’s not a big sign, but it’s there. We try to keep the chairs clean and the fan running.
