Mobil Clinic

Mobil Clinic is situated at number 7 on D B Street. This is in Palace Guttahalli, which is a pretty old part of Bangalore near the palace grounds. We’ve been operating out of this small building for a while now. The street is quite narrow and can be a bit busy during the day with people moving around. Being in the 560003 area, we get a lot of local residents coming in. It’s not a very big place, just a few rooms where we see people. We don’t have a lot of staff, usually just one or two of us here at a time. We handle the daily walk-ins and try to keep a schedule, but sometimes people just show up. The setup is very basic. There are some chairs in the waiting area and a small desk where we do the paperwork. It’s more of a neighborhood clinic than a big hospital. We know most of the people who come here by their names because they’ve been living in Guttahalli for years. We open up in the morning and stay open until we finish seeing the last person in the evening. It can be a bit quiet in the afternoons, which is nice. We just try to provide a simple place for people to come when they aren't feeling well. There is no flashy sign or anything, just the name on the door and a humble front. It stays busy enough to keep us on our feet.
